Grill, baby, grill

It was my husband's birthday today, so I did what any loving wife would do. I grilled in minus 5 degree weather. BTW, that's steam coming off the grill as the ice melts - not smoke.

Have I mentioned that I love to cook? In fact, the grill was a Mother's Day present a couple of years ago.

Tonight's menu: steaks (bottom sirloin, which I personally like better than top for pure grilling), asparagus and a bottle of Cabernet (St. Francis).

  1. On the menu, I forgot to mention that I also baked sweet potato wedges in the oven. Sliced sweet potatoes (skin on), some olive oil and a touch of pink Himalayan sea salt. Pure heaven!
