Most of my novels take place in the years leading up to and
during the American Revolution. Le
Chevalier is set in Philadelphia right before the British take the city.
The hero of the story, Le Chevalier de Mont Trignon, is a French aristocrat on a "fact-finding" missing for King Louis. While in America, he falls in love with a young
tavern owner, Alexandra Turner, caught in the middle of the fight.

Cupid's Arrow
leaps forward in time to the French Revolution as the Reign of Terror hits its
bloodiest heights. Mont Trignon has commissioned a ship's captain, Neil
Blakely, to rescue his youngest sister, Christiana, from the Jacobins. He finds
her in Place de la Concorde at the bottom of the steps leading up to the
guillotine.

Incidentally, Neil is the younger brother of Amanda
Blakely from Caution to the Wind. While Neil and Christiana were little more than children in Caution to the Wind and Le Chevalier, they're all grown up now!
